Did you know that Wright's Farm Restaurant offers their delicious chicken dinner menu available in take-out size party pans - enough to feed a crowd? I didn't either... until recently! And let me just tell you they do not disappoint!
Back in April I had my son's Baptism and hosted everyone at my house afterwards. A house full of 36 family members who pack a big appetite. I wasn't sure what to feed everyone, with a 4 year old and a new baby the LAST thing I wanted to do was cook for a crowd and have to deal with all the shopping, prepping and clean up that comes along with it. I wanted something easy for me but would impress my guests. Well let me just tell you, boy did I make that happen. Actually...Boy, did Wright's Farm Restaurant make that happen!
My family and I have been going to Wright's for years. When I found out that Wright's Farm Restaurant offered Party Pans to go, I knew that was just the perfect meal for H's baptism celebration. I was SO EXCITED to serve their fresh oven baked, fall-off the bone chicken, garden salad with Italian dressing, home-style french fries, pasta shells with sauce and rolls at my party.
I called Wright's and ordered my party pans, I gave the day and time that we would need the food for. They advised me to order the food upon arrival for pick up so that it was as hot and fresh as possible. My husband headed to Wright's after the Baptism. Once he arrived he ordered the pans. It only took about 15 minutes or less for the food to come out. They wheeled the food out in carts to my husbands car. Easy peasy! The food was not only packed in heavy duty aluminum pans with lids, they were labeled accordingly, and the pans themselves were packed in very sturdy boxes to ensure there would be no spills and also made transporting the pans a breeze!
While my husband went to pick up the party pans I had appetizers and beverages flowing for my guests.
Set up was a breeze. I purchased sterno buffet warming trays to keep the party pans warm once it arrived and allowed for easy serving.
My family (my Uncle Greg) was so eager for the food to arrive I could hardly get blog worthy photos - he was digging in before I could even snap a few pictures.
Back to the party pans. I literally could shout from the top of a cupola how happy I was and impressed! Anyone that knows me, knows I am hard to please. I was blown away at the quality of how the food was packaged making transporting as easy as could be.The food was piping hot even with a half hour drive home. It could not have been better. I could not believe the amount of food - it was incredible and exceeded my wildest expectations. I always worry that I am not going to have enough food and always over buy/cook. I had 2 Full Pans of everything and we had MORE than enough. There were plenty of left overs. My family piled heaps of food on their plates and had seconds and my dad and uncle had thirds. Just like being at Wright's, no one left hungry that is for sure! And you just can't beat the price! Not to mention how stress free and easy it was to feed a large crowd. I didn't know that was possible, but now that I do, I am sharing it with you.
Everyone kept talking about how they had no idea that Wright's Party Pans were available. They were thoroughly impressed and could not stop talking about it and neither can I!
Party Sized Pans
Wright's Farm Restaurant offers Party Pans in full or half sizes. Full Pans serve 18-20 people and Half Pans serve 9-10 people. If you find yourself panicking on what to server your guests at your next party or family gathering, look no further, Wright's Farm Restaurant Party Pans is the way to go. Your guests will go home full and leave happy. All you have to do is pick up the food and it's ready to serve! I set up a folding table with dollar store table clothes and dollar store plastic serving utensils making clean up a breeze! Zero stress. Zero mess.
