Basic Invite - Custom Invitations For Every Occasion

This post is sponsored. All opinions are my own.

Basic Invite is a custom invitation and stationary company that is anything but "basic". Located in Saint George, Utah they have been in business since 2006. Basic Invite offers an overwhelming assortment of beautiful invitations that are completely customizable for any and every occasion! Boasting affordability while maintaining exceptional quality stationary that will make a statement and be sure to wow your guests. There are so many options to choose from. I had the opportunity to order samples for this blog post and I had the hardest time choosing them, because I wanted them ALL. I kid you not I had to have the hubby help me eliminate options that I added to my cart. They are all so good!

Their website is a dream - is so incredibly user friendly where you can customize with ease and instantly see a preview of your work.

Here's what I love about Basic Invite and what I think sets them apart!

  • Pick a color - any color. Their color pallet offers over 180 colors to choose from. Once you select a design, you can change the color of each element on the card with a click of a button. The best part is Basic Invite gives you an INSTANT PREVIEW of your design as you customize it.

  • The ability to order custom samples. You can order an actual sample of the invitation or card before you place your final order. You can see and feel the paper quality and how it will print in real life to ensure that the card is just the way you want it. I love this try before you buy option!

  • They have over 40 different colors of envelopes. With so many options you can rest assure that your envelope will match your invite perfectly!

  • All of Basic Invite's envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be closed quickly and securely. This is a perfect way to enlist some help from your kids and get them involved! You can stuff the envelopes and they can seal it! A tradition that my mom has done throughout the years is sprinkling in some festive confetti into the envelopes of each and every card. When the recipient opens the card the confetti comes flying out - sending some holiday cheer. This type of envelope is necessary for holding those sparkles inside securely.

  • Basic Invite also offers an address capturing service that gives you a way to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media platform to request your friends and family's addresses. The addresses are then stored in your account and can be selected during the design process.

  • Basic Invite offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders. Yes, you read that right!

  • Foil cards are an added upgrade that will set your cards apart. Foil cards are available in gold, silver, and rose gold. You can choose flat or raised foil on all invites

I told you - Basic Invite is anything but "Basic".

Unless you are new here you are all fully aware that I am a holiday and party enthusiast! I tend to go completely over the top for any celebration or holiday! Don't believe me? Check out B's Fire Truck Themed birthday party, B's Curious George birthday party, B's Little Blue Truck birthday party, or My Botanical Garden wedding ...ok you get the point.

The invitation is the first impression that sets the tone for the party! In my opinion - it's the most important part of planning a celebration. I typically build the theme of my party upon the look and feel of the invitation. As much as I don't want to admit this I am kind of a invitation snob, I am very detailed oriented and expect quality print and paper products when I purchase invitations. Let me tell you Basic Invite exceeded my expectations.

I know it is only October, but whether you want to believe it or not, the holidays are upon us. I always send my Christmas Cards out the day after Thanksgiving. My card MUST be the very first Christmas Card that my friends and family receive. I got this tradition from my mom. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Every year my Christmas cards are the very first card that everyone receives - sparking the spirit of Christmas to all of our friends and family each year!

Another Holiday card tradition I do is I keep all of the beautiful Holiday Cards I receive each year and make a book out of them with a ring clip! That way each year we can look back at all of the beautiful cards and see how much all of loved ones have grown and changed over the years and reflect on memories and years past! All you need is a 2 inch ring clip and a hole punch. Punch a hole in the top left corner of each card and put them through the ring clip. It's that simple.
