I love making fun treat's for B and all his friends. I made these cute Construction Truck Valentines and I have to say I got the inspiration from another mom I know who's #MomGame is strong. Her version of these had matchbox cars rather than construction trucks and she wrote "I wheelie dig you" on hers.. can you even stand it? So cute! Anyhow that's where I came up with this idea. B is super into construction vehicles right now so these were a big hit!
I bought foam hearts, mini construction vehicles, and black sparkly washi tape for an asphalt look.
I simply used double sided tape to adhere the trucks to the heart and hand wrote on the foam valentine with sharpie. Lastly placed a piece of black sparkly washi tape over the trucks to look like asphalt at a construction site (not pictured, because I am a Hot Mess and forgot to snap pictures of the final product before giving them to our friends). So cute for a non-candy valentine.
